I was honored to participate in ArtExpo New York for the fourth consecutive year, continuing my journey of presenting contemporary nature inspired artwork to a global audience of collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts.

Each year brings new experiences, but this year became one of the most unexpected and meaningful chapters in my artistic practice.

An Unexpected Shift During Installation

My original concept for the fair was centered around a cohesive waterscape collection. However, during installation, an unexpected moment changed everything. A piece fell and needed to be fixed, and as I began reorganizing the wall, I realized the initial flow of the collection no longer felt aligned.

What followed was not planned. It was instinctive.

I began reworking the entire presentation in real time, allowing the artworks to guide me instead of following the original layout.

The Evolution of From Speed to Stillness

Through this process, the collection naturally transformed into a new body of work titled From Speed to Stillness.

The shift was not just visual, but emotional. The energy of movement, disruption, and fluid waterscapes gradually evolved into a quieter narrative of balance, reflection, and inner calm.

The collection became a meditation on transition, showing how stillness often emerges from motion when we allow space for change.

Collector Response and Connection

One of the most rewarding aspects of this experience was the response from collectors and visitors. The work resonated deeply, and I am grateful that several artworks found their permanent homes during the fair.

These connections are always the most meaningful part of exhibiting. They remind me that art is not just about creation, but about emotional resonance and shared experience.

A Moment of Growth and Trust

This exhibition reaffirmed an important truth in my artistic journey. Not everything unfolds as planned, and often, the most authentic outcomes come from moments of uncertainty.
