A sigh of relief is what this painting is for me. Away from trials and tribulations of life, floating above unknown water and relishing the dusk of evening with old, sturdy mountains and setting twilight sky as the view; my greatest way to unwind. In a way it’s really astounding how art and nature can portal you to a different setting altogether with just one flight of imagination. Hope you get to experience its magic too.
This is a special painting as it has quite a few of my favorite nature elements - A dusk sky, the hills, lake, those city lights making beautiful reflections in the water and in all of that this one single boat stealing away the limelight with that dense shadow in the water.
This is also inspired from a photograph clicked by "Paola Martini". She is gifted and has an amazing eye to capture nature's beauty in her camera lens and share it with the world. I am trying to do the same with my brush :)
