I painted this during Summer vacations of 2018, when I moved to the US and fell in love with the jersey beaches. The blues of water, the rocks where the waves come with their full might and crash. That sound is so violent yet calming. When I was painting this I could hear the beach noises....
Similar things happen to us in our lives too, we keep crashing against the troubled times and hurdles, but keep bouncing back. It is a painful process most of the times, but just makes us stronger and more confident to deal with tough situations. I have always believed that "we should be thankful to the people who were not good to us, we should be thankful to the situations in life that we difficult to manage, because those people and those circumstances made us more versatile and stronger human being"
I painted this during Summer vacations of 2020, when I was so missing going to a beach. It felt as if a ritual was being broken, but somewhere within my heart I was thankful that my kids and family were safe in these unprecedented times.
So what I could not visit a beach, I painted a series on waves, boats and beach scenes. Explore the other ones too :)
