Calm in Wilderness

SOLO EXHIBITION - 2nd FEB 2021- 31st March 2021

This exhibition is about my journey as a professional artist, that started in July 2020. When Covid-19 hit the world, and I was busy working as a high-flying corporate woman, the reality striked. I realized where my real passion lies in all that WILDERNESS. I realized that my true happiness lies in those moments when I am an artist, when I am painting these magical glimpses inspired by NATURE.

I have always been passionate about nature, its been an inspiration, and muse for me. It is beautiful in every form, whether it's an ocean filled with blue waters, or a dry and dead desert, whether it is spring season, with flowers blooming all around, or it is winter covered with a blanket of white snow. There is boundless beauty is everything. A lotus that blooms in muddy waters is probably the most beautiful flowers, or the autumn leaves which are about to fall and die, have the most vibrant hues.

With the end of year 2020, that has impacted so many lives., there is a hope for a better tomorrow in 2021. While 2020 brought so many challenges, tragic times and negativity all around the world, it also made us all realize our true HAPPINESS, our own CALM. It made us realize what is our real treasure and joy. In that never-ending hustle of life, it made us PAUSE, INTROSPECT and make our choices.

This is my first in-person exhibition since 2020, and I want to pass on the happiness that I got while making all these artworks to those who are going to look at these and who will own these. Hoping my slice of happiness makes its way to as many lives as possible.
